Food Bank

The Oakland Ministerial Association and the Town of Oakland support this food bank which is located in the ell at the back of the parsonage. At 20 West School Street at the rear of the Parsonage of the Methodist Church.

The Food Bank is open every Thursday from 4-6 P M. , with the exception of Holidays falling on Thursdays.

Food Pantry Sunday is the 1st Sunday of each month.  I was

asked to put out a special request for jelly.  Any foods are appreciated at any time.  Thanks for your continued support.  Thanks also to our volunteers who put in many hours organizing deliveries, picking up donated food, stocking shelves, cleaning the pantry, distributing food and welcoming food pantry customers. Thank you June Ponitz, who will be helping fill the shoes of Sandy Swartz and husband, Steve, who are heading to Florida for 3 months for some relaxation in the sun and sand.
